Trekking poles take up to a quarter of the load off your knees on long descents and give you two extra points of contact on river crossings and scree. These fold into three sections and lock with a single push.
The cork grips mould to your hands over time and stay comfortable when your hands sweat. An extended foam section below the grip lets you choke down on steep traverses without stopping to adjust.

How to size them
With the tip on the ground, your elbow should sit at about 90 degrees. Shorten them a few centimetres for climbs and lengthen them for descents.
