Merino keeps you warm when it is cool and cool when it is warm, and it naturally resists odour so you can wear it for a whole multi-day trip. The fine 17.5 micron fibres feel soft against the skin, with none of the itch of ordinary wool.
A slim fit and flatlock seams make it comfortable as a base layer under a pack, and it is smart enough to wear into town afterwards.

Care
Machine wash on a wool cycle at 30°C and dry flat. Merino needs washing far less often than synthetics.
