We leave the visitor centre an hour before sunset and walk an easy 3 km up to Hurricane Ridge, timing it so we arrive as the first stars appear. On a clear night you can see the Milky Way, Saturn’s rings and a few galaxies through our telescopes.
Your guide is a keen amateur astronomer who will show you how to find the constellations and how to photograph the night sky with your phone.
